Melissa Balzano,
Director of Events and Operations
Melissa is a proven Life Science Event Organiser with over a decade of industry expertise, prominently including extensive collaborations with EMBL-EBI and ELIXIR. She brings a powerful global network, deep domain knowledge in life sciences, and a robust operational and administrative skillset to every project. She also holds a passionate commitment to green events, driving sustainability and minimising carbon footprints wherever possible.
Before shaping the world of scientific events, Melissa trained with the University of Cambridge as an English Language teacher and examiner, building a rich background in education and communication. She holds a joint honours degree in Business Administration with Italian from Buckinghamshire Business School and the Università degli studi di Bergamo, alongside a Masters qualification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language.
Bilingual and famously meticulous, Melissa is known for breaking tasks down to the minute detail - achieving the 'Molecular Level' of precision necessary for continuous process improvement and flawless execution.
Paul is our go-to for website builds and developments that really showcase your scientific projects. A true creative, Paul is an expert at creating logos, branding and graphic design. These are used for marketing, events, registrations, applications, agendas, presentations, posters, social media, infographics and merchandise. He has been creating powerful brands for over 20 years.

Finance
Anna Burrows ACMA, CGMA is our Chartered Management Accountant. Anna provides Molecular Level Events and our clients with advice on how to access funding for Scientific projects, Intellectual Property, Patents, business planning, budgeting, forecasting, profitability, and setting KPIs.
Anna can take on all aspects of bookkeeping as well as advice on UK and Foreign Tax income and niche currencies. She is well versed in VAT registrations and refunds as well as helping advise our clients on sustainable Cloud Accounting systems and Tax Savings Schemes.
Anna is bilingual Polish speaker and speaks German too.
